Due to the pandemic and in keeping with the COVID-19 social distancing protocols the studio is now only offering virtual or in-person private/semi-private classes (maximum of 3 people) by appointment.

Class Styles

Start your yoga journey learning the foundations of the practice. This is a slower paced class which introduces you to foundational yoga poses, postural alignment and breathing techniques. This class is intended to build your confidence in the practice and to make you feel more at home in your body. In this class you will become familiar with moving in postures mindfully with the breath. Connecting the mind, body and breath regularly has many physical, mental and emotional health benefits. If you are new to yoga or wanting a gentler practice this is the perfect class.

This is a slower paced yoga class that invites you to move gently and breath easy, enabling you to relax your body and calm your mind.

Cultivate strength, flexibility, stamina, balance and focus. This yoga class is for all levels though a knowledge of foundational yoga poses is beneficial. This class will focus on breathing techniques, postures and relaxation to prepare the body and mind for meditation to close the practice. Including meditation to your yoga practice has many benefits including lowered stress levels, increased mental clarity and focus, improved overall health and many more.

Stimulate energy and increase vitality. This is a vinyasa style of yoga class where postures are linked together with the breath in a flowing sequence.

Release tension in the body and the mind. This is a quiet and meditative style of practice where postures are held anywhere between 3-5 minutes. This class helps to release tension in the connective tissues of the body allowing for space to be created and energy to flow more freely.

Create balance in your yoga practice. A blend of both stillness and movement which brings together the benefits of the passively held postures of Yin and the active flowing postures of vinyasa styles of yoga. Together they help energy to flow more freely through the body building strength, stamina and flexibility in both the body and mind.

Renew and restore the body and mind. This class helps to calm the central nervous system to truly rest both body and mind. Longer held supportive restorative poses are practiced using bolsters, blankets and other props to fully support the body in restful positions, A blend of essential oils will be diffused to support relaxation if desired.

Improve your breathing, improve your health. This class is breath-centric and will focus on yoga poses that help open up the spaces of the shoulders,  chest and lungs.  Breathing well can help alleviate stress, anxiety, and depression leading to improved sleep, focus, energy, overall health and feelings of wellness.  This is an all levels class.  Everyone can benefit from breathing better!

Improve mental and emotional health. A quiet practice that includes deep breathing, muscle relaxation and visualization to calm the chatter of the mind leading to both physical and physiological benefits. Helps to lower stress, anxiety and improves mood and concentration.

Improve your posture, core stability, flexibility and balance. Pilates is a low-impact, easy-on-the joints mind/body exercise that has many benefits including reducing stress and improving both your everyday and sport activities. Key elements of the classical Pilates exercises and principles will be taught. The class will start with a gentle warm-up, continue with Pilates exercises including progressions and finish with a few yoga exercises to cool down and relax.

Combine the benefits of both yoga and Pilates in one class. This class combines classical and contemporary elements of Pilates and yoga poses. Fluid movements lead by the breath combined with deep stretches and stabilizing poses will help center the mind while developing a strong core, increasing body strength and flexibility and improving coordination and balance. This class is great if you are short on time.

Feel calm, peaceful and balanced. Experience the healing benefits of Reiki Universal Life Energy to clear energy blockages in the body and uplift your spirits. Essential Oils can be used to support relaxation if desired.

    Virtual Gentle Yoga – Tuesdays, November 9 to December 14, 9-10am – $90

  • Drop-in for a single class in any series: $20  New to the studio your first class is complimentary!
  • Sign up for two six-week class series for $170.
