Looking for a healthy snack? These breakfast cookies are great to curb your appetite in between meals; when on the run; and to pack for your favourite outdoor activities like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, etc. I use what I have on hand. Today my recipe includes one snack size serving of apple sauce in place of the banana, quick oats though I really love using quinoa flakes, slivered almonds, almond butter, ½ the amount of maple syrup called for, both chopped apricots and dates, cranberries.
